This is my opinion concerning the so called "religion of peace".
First and foremost I do not consider islam to be a religion but instead a cult. A cult is "a sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader." Outside conventional society is the key here. This man in Texas... first of all he was no man. This vermin in Texas, followed to the 't' the teachings of his god, to kill those who do not believe as he.
Slay them wherever ye find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. - Sura 2:191
Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme - Sura 8:39
This a cult of violence. They are not protected under the blood sacrificed Right of Freedom of Religion. Freedom of religion does not give you the right to sacrifice your kids(though planned parenthood and obama may argue), it doesn't allow you to take child brides (though mohammad was a pedophile by taking a 7 year old as his wife), and it doesn't allow murder of those whom you disagree with.
Yet our leaders cry for us to be sensitive as this was an isolated incident by a troubled, depressed soldier. He was neither. He was a murderer who swore an oath to allah, and rejected his country. Those who reject violence in islam are technically just bad muslims. He was a good muslim. No other way he could do it. And he is a traitor. And if you defend his beliefs... or his 'rights' to those beliefs, it must be a pretty cold image in your mirror. ALL muslims are suspect.
All muslims!

You're off base on this one Rattler. Islam has been hijacked by creeps and psychos like this bastard. Even the Christian Bible has passages that can make us cringe. The IRA is no more representative of all Catholics, or Sinn Fein is no more representative of all Protestants than the murderer that committed this despicable crime at Ft. Hood.
ReplyDeleteAs a point of finding common ground with you, I would agree that it is in the interests of national security to be more scrutinous of those with backgrounds from countries that are hostile to us. This also includes China. Russia and others.
If we agreed all the time I'd have to change my name to Truth 102.:)
ReplyDeleteMy bible does not allow or command me to kill in God's name. It does command me to spread His word and that is all. Muslims though are instructed to either enslave the infidel or kill them and then they will be rewarded.
A bunch of quotes can be found here: http://www.wvinter.net/~haught/Koran.html
The teachings of Jesus can in no way be compared to the false prophet mohammad. Evil is evil and it should not be protected regardless of the cloak used.
I despise a person for being a despicable creep. If he uses a religion to justify his horrible actions all the more reason to despise him.
ReplyDeleteI finally got around to putting you on my link list Rattler. I don't know if it will make much difference in your hit number if that's important to you. But I always thought you are a decent, if sometimes deluded, guy that should be on everyone's reading list.
Continued success to you Rattler.
Like you-I am tired of the PC - whitewash that is going to get more of our BEST murdered....
ReplyDeleteTruth 101 - It will be nice to one day not have to say "go in peace" because there really won't be any other way. But until then, put on His armor and fight on!
ReplyDeleteCS - Though we get weary of the battle, ours through Christ is a victory that has already been paid for. As with other massacres, it is hard to see good amongst evil but the heroism shown during those hellish few minutes will no doubt inspire and positively change a good portion amongst us. They hope for us to be quiet. That will not happen.
I agree with you, for the most part. Perhaps not 100% (believe in forgiveness, do NOT believe America should legislate religion) but the gist, yes. I certainly understand how you feel. Oh, and I am not trying to argue, I'm sorry, so don't take what I said that way.
ReplyDeleteYou should see my newest post. It will certainly be of interest to you.
God bless!
