I will absolutely defend the right.
ReplyDeleteAnd while I'm not in the back and I don't need the slow version, I greatly appreciate it, because you really do spell it out so well that those in need have no reasonable debate.
It's been a while since I read The Bible Rattler. Just where is this verse that commands me to own guns?
ReplyDeleteSoloman... I have traversed with you long enough to know this was not for you. You are a partiot. Arizona is a right to carry state. (actually I think our founders wanted that for the entire country) I unfortunately live in California which gives it's residents no right to self defense. As such it is my/our duty here to exercise this right anyways even if I one day run afoul of their illegal interpretation.
ReplyDeleteTruth, I know it's been a while. Jesus never denied us the right to self defense. Read Luke 22:36 36 [Jesus] said to [the disciples], "But now the one who has a purse must take it, and likewise a bag; and the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one." The Greek word for sword hear is actually a dagger that can be concealed. He knew that the world was evil and they/we would need to prepare to one day battle it. If you google it, lot's of interpretations on this by pacifist social pharasies. but really, it means what it says. Just like the Second Amendment.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting and informative blog. God bless, Lloyd
