CPAC chose Ron Paul... the problem I see with this is... Mitt Romney was second. Can this no better describe the divide in Republican Party. Black and white. Truth is, CPAC is a conservative convention... with republicans attending. Romney, like McCain and Huckabee... they are not conservative. Look at Mitt's state. I live in California and I sure would not consider Massachusetts as an upgrade. BIG GOVERNMENT and ENTITLEMENTS!
If Washington, Jefferson or Adams were running for office today, they would be total outcasts. Wackos. Nutty constitutionalists... LIBERTARIANS?... As insane as that... Ron Paul guy. EXACTLY!
Welcome to the Revolution!

I don't see a problem at all Rattler. I see a split in the republican party maiking Obama's reelection all the more easier. And you're correct about Romney not being a conservative. Mitt will say whatever he thinks his audience at the time wants to hear. But if the stars align and somehow Mitt becomes president, it won't be that bad a deal for libs like me cause Mitt, as you say, is not really a conservative.
