According to Vermont

It is lawful to carry a firearm openly or concealed provided the firearm is not carried with the intent or avowed purpose of injuring a fellow man. No permit is needed.

A right not exercised soon needs permission. Carry on!

My radio personality can beat up your radio personality... he says so!

You know what's amazing... after 10 years of talk radio, I'm starting to listen to music again.

Levin,"blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Beck!"

Savage, "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Rush!"

Rush, "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah O'Reily!"

Dudes... who are we fighting... each other? Get a grip and a spine.

Really, the only hosts I have not heard are Beck and Hannity trying to rip a new one... in the same side. Why?

WHY?

Because maybe... ego?

This is war. Keep your eyes on the enemy.

I do not agree 100% with any one, even if they claim they are fighting for the cause. They are mere men and women. Human. Trust...         but verify. But the battle at hand is not with each other. If you think it is... what's that saying?... Join or Die!

And      this      battle      is      worth     DIEING FOR!

Read, Listen and Pray! The fight starts with... YOU!

This guy is an idiot!

You know when you go to Drudge in the morning and in the first few headlines Harry Reid's name shows up... The conservative movement grows a little more stronger. Nevada, Nevada, Nevada. Well I guess I can't talk. My state gave you all Pelosi. (PS, that was from the central part of the state).

Ole Harry yesterday... on the senate floor stated that "when men are out of work (no doubt because of the republicans...) they tend to be abusive".

Is this guy an idiot or what?

Wait...

This guy is an idiot!

First thing Harry. Men are not abusive. Regardless of employment, debt, football commercials or any other crap you can come up with. These are not men. They're scum. Even with a job, those of the male chromosome that are abusive, lack the 'balls' to be real men. Scum like taking advantage of those they consider beneath them who don't or can't fight back. Kinda like the current leadership on the Hill.  When they don't get their way they do it anyways and tell us, "It's for your own good".  The thing is... we're learning to fight back and we realize our country is better than this and them. No more abuse.

My concern now...

by Reids' own dribble... I guess many in politics will be abusive starting this November. Personally I would put them all on a watch list and warn their families now.

Mike Huckabee rips CPAC. Who is Huckabee?

Gov Huckabee skips CPAC 2010 citing "It's not the event it once was."
“CPAC has becoming increasingly more libertarian and less Republican over the last years, one of the reasons I didn’t go this year.”

JUST ANOTHER BITTER OLD GOAT!

Conservative/Libertarians are the only ones who can save this country. Not some retread socialist republican. Our founders stood for Libertarian principals and the constitution. Not the neocon rhetoric stench coming from guys like this (and Romney). Bigger and bigger government they strive for (and have accomplished). Yes todays CPAC is not like the good old days.. that's what got us where we are today. This year there were actually people with their eyes WIDE open and not accepting the same old elephant crap from the establishment!

Sing with me...

"Turn out the lights, the (old Republican) Party's over...

And the new party has just begun!"

Dont Tread on Me!... wait, it's too late. Prepare to be bitten!

CPAC follow up...

CPAC chose Ron Paul... the problem I see with this is... Mitt Romney was second. Can this no better describe the divide in Republican Party. Black and white. Truth is, CPAC is a conservative convention... with republicans attending. Romney, like McCain and Huckabee... they are not conservative. Look at Mitt's state. I live in California and I sure would not consider Massachusetts as an upgrade. BIG GOVERNMENT and ENTITLEMENTS!

If Washington, Jefferson or Adams were running for office today, they would be total outcasts. Wackos. Nutty constitutionalists... LIBERTARIANS?... As insane as that... Ron Paul guy.  EXACTLY!

Welcome to the Revolution!

Ron Paul Wins CPAC Presidential Straw Poll

Crazy... Yes!
But he is a PATRIOT!

The Revolution has begun!!!

Bill of Rights... unless it's raining!

I missed his show, but Bill O'Reily stated that the feral government (I know it's misspelled but I decided to leave it)  has every right to suspend our constitution and the Bill of Rights in case of an emergency.
?
Isn't this the most important time to preserve these rights?

Let's see... a natural disaster happens... no law enforcement available... we are on our own. But keep your mouth shut and turn in any guns you may have...
...
...
Since my son reads this  I will keep it to pg13

HELL NO and JUST TRY!

O'Reily, you Neo Con Ass. You stated on your show that I did see (which will probably be the last for a while) that the feds have every right to do whatever they want to in an emergency. Sorry bub... they don't. They serve us.
They serve us!
He stated the Supreme court can step in to protect us if when the president oversteps his authority. Please. It takes 5 years and 100 lawsuits and a thousand attorneys to even raise an eyebrow. And the Supreme Court is not the final word. Three CO-EQUAL branches.  Spend a little more time reading books than writing them.

He dissed the Oath Keepers. He dissed us as free Americans. And he is an idiot.

It's not the Bill of Suggestions...
it's the Bill of RIGHTS!

and to defend it...
"we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

BETTER THAN A THOUSAND

A large group of Taliban soldiers are  moving down a road when they hear a voice call from behind a sand-dune say, "One Marine is better than ten Taliban."

The Taliban commander quickly sends 10 of his best soldiers over the dune whereupon a  gun-battle breaks out and continues for a few minutes, then  silence.

The voice then  calls out, "One Marine is better than a hundred Taliban soldiers."

Furious, the Taliban commander sends his next best 100 troops over the dune and instantly a  huge gun fight commences. After 10 minutes of battle, again  silence.

The Marine voice calls  out, "One Marine is better than a thousand Taliban."

The enraged Taliban commander musters a thousand fighters and sends them over the dune.  Cannon fire, rocket blasts, and machine gun fire rings out as a huge battle rages.

Then silence.

Finally one wounded Taliban fighter crawls back over the dune and with his dying words tells his commander,  "Don't  send any more men, it's a trap. There are two of them."

Feds Warn: Snow Costs Taxpayers $100 Million A Day...

As I see it we will save $1.3 Trillion if Washington closes for the rest of the year. Finally, 'Change' I can believe in. Now lets see if we can shut Sacramento down...

The Dogs of War

A friend at work loaned me a copy of  "The Hurt Locker" about an IED squad in Iraq. Powerful movie. Reinforced my belief on the failure of the US trying to be everything to everyone. We need more drones... for another article later. Anyways I came across this awesome site  "Woman Honor Thyself" with a great story. Read it here.  The Dogs of War

Enough Said

Marbury v Madison, 5 US (2 Cranch) 137, 174, 176; 2 LE
60 (1803) reveals that "All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void."

Miranda v Arizona, 384 US 436, 491; 86 S Ct 1602; 16 L Ed
2d 694 (1966) reveals that "Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no legislation which would abrogate them."

Norton v Shelby County, Tennessee, 118 US 425, 442; 6 S Ct 1121; 30 L Ed 178 (1886) reveals that "An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; creates no office. It is as inoperative as though it had never been passed."

West Virginia State Board of Education v Barnette, 319 US 624, 638; 63 S Ct 1178; 87 L Ed 1628 (1943) "The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One's right to life, liberty and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no election."

City of Oak Ridge v Diana Ruth Brown (Tenn. Ct. App., Case No. E2004-01574-COA-R3-CV, 2005 WL 1996620, 19 August 2005 lv app den 2006) reveals that a law is unconstitutional which forbids what the U.S. Constitution allows

Last I checked the law of the land is the Constitution and it tells us we have the right to bear arms. If it infringes upon our Constitutional rights, IT IS NOT A LAW and we have no obligation to it.

Israeli Open Carry

Israelis (and the Swiss) are not afraid of guns. They are an armed people, ready, willing, and able to defend themselves and their country.

There, when a Muslim goes, well, Muslim,  he is typically shot to death by someone within seconds of screaming "Allah Akbar" rather than being surrounded by lawyers and politicians demanding  his Miranda rights.

Unlike indoctrinated Americans, paralyzed by fear and political correctness, Israelis understand that people, not guns, kill people. And there are bad people out there wanting to do harm,

They also do not have a second amendment because it is so out of the question to them not to be able to defend ones self.  The phrase "inalienable rights" are God given not man granted.

Can it happen?

Washington DC, USA (AP) - USA on Thursday executed two men accused of involvement in an anti-government group, as the public prosecutor announced that new death sentences have been issued against opposition activists involved in protests over November's disputed presidential election.
The two men, who were hanged before dawn Tuesday.
State run media MSNBC depicted the two as part of the protest movement, a sign of how the government has lumped together many of its enemies with the political opposition amid its postelection crackdown. The media's depiction of the executions may aim to intimidate the opposition ahead of new street demonstrations expected in August.
In a further move likely aimed at cowing protesters, USA's prosecutor announced that five people have been sentenced to death for involvement in the most recent major demonstrations, on September 11 for protesting the change from Patriots Day to the state mandated Day of Service. That day saw the worst violence of postelection crackdown, with at least eight people killed in clashes between the new UN police force brought in by the president and protesters with thousands arrested and relocated to an undisclosed location.

I have changed this story from an execution that did happen in Iran this week. God bless the patriot regardless of nationality.

YOU LIE!

Mr. President... You Lie!... You're also an ASS!

Last nights donkey show by the tel"O"prompter guy was a real work. He definitely played it up to his barnyard animal friends for sure. But one thing that seems to be getting the most notice is his chastising of the Supreme Court DURING his state of the union speech. Now lets see... it's inappropriate for a congressman to call out the president for lying through his teeth, but ok for the self appointed king to mock a CO-EQUAL... CO-EQUAL branch of the government because it throws a monkey wrench in the progressives road to domination.. I still don't believe he was ever qualified to teach constitutional law. As my last post quoted... he failed lunch.

God protect the sane members of our Supreme Court.  I hope none commit suicide by shooting themselves in the back.

Patriots. I salute you all. We who believe in Constitutional freedoms and the fundamentals of our founders, are at a point in history that will either have our children and grandchildren saying thank you for preserving our republic, or.... asking us why we didn't do more. I KNOW I WILL WANT  TO TELL THEM I DID EVERYTHING I COULD. But what will that be?

As with Common Sense by Thomas Paine, we all have the ability to make an impact in the world around us. For some it is by the printed word.  For others it is by design and visual. Making a statement is our goal. Changing the hearts of the misguided is what we hope to do. But how? How can we have an impact in this fight for freedom?

If you go back and review this blog, you will know my heart. Our founders, by the hand of God, gave us the greatest country the world has ever seen... period. As citizens, it is up to us to preserve. We write on our blogs, we talk to those that will listen. But in the end, where does it lead? What impact does it make in the world?

DontTreadWear.com

As a graphic artist over the last 10 years I have seen what design can do. Images, even simple graphics can have a huge impact. Look at what a simple word like "Change" did for that Barry guy. But also look at what "Dont Tread on Me" has done in return. The powers of be have rendered it as domestic terror.  Do you think they are afraid? Just a  patriotic flag of our history. Why are they worried? Because they know the meaning and the impact words can have on their progressive movement.

DontTreadWear.com

I believe that we can have an impact. I believe that we can make a difference. This is the year that we can change the world. Not for something new. But back to our foundation.

DontTreadWear.com

My goal is to promote our founders. Promote our history. Promote  our future.

Palin "Sly as a FOX"

A left of center friend of mine (Truth101) recently ran a post titled "Sarah Palin - Stupid as a FOX". Naturally a title like that will stir the natives... and I think it's now approaching 100 replies. Dang, I'm lucky to get 5. Not to worry. I was able to fend them all off. :)

His title though is inaccurate as to the true saying. It is "Sly as a Fox". Hunters picked this foe because of the challenge and the likelihood of their(the hunter's) defeat.  Farmers built their hen houses to repel this enemy whose craftiness exceeded many a builder.  And  now the conservatives have not just Sarah... but other "We the People" Americans ready to reclaim the country of our founders. And the progressive sit back and howl... "they're all just stupid tea baggers."... and apparently we're just stupid pickup truck owners as "O" the fearless one yelped about this weekend in ole Mass.

If you get a chance, go to the post and read the replies against her. Illiterate, evil, stupid and brainless seem to be the rally cry. Even "so called conservatives" are quick to point out why this mother of five doesn't represent the elite who they believe should rule and lead. Talking points from this group come strait from SNL and since it is from NBC it must be fact. Words from Tina Fey became facts. Yet when you disprove the allegations, they always have their fall back chant "SHE QUIT AS GOVERNOR!" Facts matter not but let's compare the whole thing of job responsibilities and ignoring your elected job...

When Sara Palin came on the scene it was just over 2 months from the election. Yes left, just 68 or so days she was away from her state. The lieutenant governor took over the day to day concerns. Now look at the chosen one. He started his run for POTUS about 2 years before that. Wait a minute. He was elected to serve in the Senate... not to run full time for another office.  "But...but... but... he's the chosen one so it's not the same."  Really? He collected his check for an entire 2 years while spending about 5% of his time being Senator. Yes, McCain did the same thing. My feeling is if you are going to run for office for more than 6 months you need to step down. BOTH PARTIES. But that's on my wish list.

They still say she quit her office she was elected to. Yes.  But she put the state before her needs and knew the position she was in after the election would hurt Alaska more if she stayed. The establishment had her in their sites.  She had accomplished her energy plans of the gas line and knew her lieutenant governor to be an honorable replacement. She knew away from Alaska, she could make a greater impact in our quest for the return of citizen rule. So instead of retreating, lets just say she stepped back to reload. She put country and Alaska first.

Whether she runs or not in 2012, she is a sly fox that one. She continues to be a thorn in the progressive side. And she will continue to serve the country she loves until she decides to step aside. Not by the handlers of the current ruling class. Get use to her.

My hope... Palin/Bachmann 2012

Makes me smile!

The Greatest Living President...

I will be the first to admit "I DO NOT KNOW IT ALL!"

Yet

I'm learning... and reading.... and listening to all.

I recently heard a name I had never paid attention to, though I am sure he has been in the news many of times. The man above is Czech President Vaclav Klaus.  And except for not being an American... he has the heart of our founders in every sense (even in his love for a good ale it seems!)
While the last 100 years or so we have been running away from our founder's vision of freedom and inalienable rights, this man has been pushing his country towards them. Google him... read, learn, study and pass it on. BTW he thinks Al Gore is an idiot. He already is my hero!

"Privatization of the state-owned economy is not yet on the agenda. We cannot do it immediately; my colleagues would not agree to it. But we must put all forms of ownership on an equal footing immediately and let different types of ownership compete with the state firms."

What can I do...

What can I do?

With the start of the new year and my first post of the new decade, I wanted to plant a seed. Sometimes we look at the country around us and ask what difference can I make. As "We the People" great changes are going to come about at the end of this year. That is, unless a 'crisis' materializes and our liberties are stolen. But closer to home, what difference can "I the Citizen"   make? What can I have a role in?

Simple answer...  you can have a HUGE role.

There is a term that most have never heard of. There is a term that lawyers and judges alike despise. There is a term that some will say you have no right to. But... there is a term that YOU and I have a constitutional right to.

Jury Nullification

We are a country based upon laws. We are a nation built upon rights. But what happens when laws are written that diminish these guaranteed, inalienable rights?  Who is the final protector of our freedoms? Politicians?... Judges?... the Supreme Court?

No. The protector of our freedom is still where or founders placed them... with We the People.
The 'Jury' is that protector. And you and I are the jury. You and I have not only the ability to protect our liberties, but also the duty. PLEASE CHECK http://www.fija.org. The Fully Informed Jury Association. "The authority of the jury is the right that protects all other rights."

Read... Research... Study...
and then...
Spread the Word!

“ Duvergers Law” - Why you should not support a 3rd party.

I usually don't copy and paste but I thought this too important not to share. It is from Frank Anderson one of the founders of I-caucus a national group you need to be a part of. Check them out here. I-Caucus

...................

Remember, not a single founding father wanted political parties, yet we saw 4 of the founders - John Adams, Alexander Hamilton,  Thomas Jefferson and James Madison - lead the  development of 2 parties into existence before Washington even completed his  first term.

Please Note: Those 4 founding fathers all wanted NO parties, but they immediately developed TWO parties...but not 3 or more parties.

Think about that:  Why would that be?  They wanted NO  parties...they could have set up as many parties as they wanted to...but they ended  up with just two.

Just like today...hmmm... Why would that be?

It’s because of “ Duvergers Law”

Bottom line: Whenever "50% of the vote plus 1 more" wins EVERYTHING, people will eventually coalesce around 2 parties  even when they DON'T want to do so...it’s "Duvergers Law" and it’s almost as unchangeable as gravity.

Does anyone here think we are collectively or individually smarter than Adams, Hamilton, Jefferson, or Madison?

No offense to anyone here, but I sure don't think so....and if these 4 founding fathers couldn’t figure out how to overcome “Duverger’s Law”  then I PROMISE you that no one in 2010 is going to be able to do so.

HOWEVER...we proved in 2008 that we CAN act as a caucus within the 2 existing parties, and we CAN root out the compromised incumbents  from WITHIN the party...and we CAN take back control of the party from the  RINO's.

We will do it in 2010 all over the country because of all of our members just like you.Are you saying that if YOU decided to run in a Republican primary,  and we got behind you and we helped ELECT you and sent you to Washington...are  you telling me you would somehow turn into someone who would be un-constitutional and fiscally irresponsible just because you won as a  Republican or a Democrat?

Of course not. You would be as principled as you are right now...as principled as Jason Chaffetz is who we PROVED we could help elect in  2008, not as an independent candidate, but as a Republican and now he is in Washington and he is NOT acting like a RINO...he is the most principled elected official sent to Washington in years.

Well, that’s what we’re doing here...we’re finding very good principled 3rd party candidates just like you...and we’re going to help them win in the primaries and we’re going to send them to Washington as Republicans or Democrats ( we don’t care which, because we don’t care what party someone belongs to) where they can actually be constitutional and be fiscally responsible.

Meanwhile, those who insist on running as independent candidates and refuse to get serious about actually winning will all draw 2% to 3% of the vote (give or take 2 %) and be sitting in their living rooms in 2011 not doing themselves or the nation any good.

Why would you choose to limit yourself like that when you can win instead?

The Founding Fathers couldnt help a 3rd party candidate win. I-caucus can not help a 3rd party candidate win. YOU cannot help any 3rd party candidates win.

Do you want more incumbents like Ron Paul, Jason Chaffetz, and Jim DeMint? Then welcome, we're going to accomplish just that.

2009 Person(s) of the Year!

Mostly ignored by the main stream media. Rebuked and belittled by our servants in office.

This decision was not only easy but unanimous!(judged by just me!) The fire has been rekindled and we will not go away.

"John Adams wrote Thomas Jefferson in August of 1815 that the American Revolution was not a war for independence, but instead a revolution in the minds and opinions of the people, which was effected prior to any hostilities of the war. The war was merely a consequence of this change in public opinion."

Welcome to the NEW REVOLUTION!!!

Where is your line in the sand?

Over the last many weeks, I have had to wonder... when is enough, enough? When does the stench from the nation's 'CRAPITOL' ( even in an epic snow storm) get so bad that we can't take it anymore? Where is that point for you?  What do you think will have to happen to convince patriots that this isn't politics, but an out right attack on our very existence?  My opinion... we have domestic enemies that have not only stepped over 'my line' but they have picked up a handful of sand and have thrown it in our face. Not all terrorists wear explosive backpacks and speak arabic. Some wear suits and have titles like congressman, senator... and some even answer as mr. president.

12151791

"The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One's right to life, liberty, and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections."
Robert H. Jackson, US Supreme Court Justice

December 15, 1791 was the day that set this country apart. The world up to that point had various forms of republics through the ages. Most failed at the hands of corrupt leadership and an immoral people.  Our republic was different. Ours was written to try and avoid these perils by limiting the rights and powers OF government and NOT the people. And when we added to our Constitution on this date... the Bill of Rights, we became and we secured ourselves as a country of "Freemen"INALIENABLE RIGHTS! Rights that belong to us and NOT granted by the will of men! (Or that can be taken away)

Today... are they still rights... or just mere privileges? Or worse yet... are they just words written by men from an era long since past with no present meaning? Our leadership of BOTH parties treat them as nothing more than an inconvenience. In every word they speak, in every action they take, they circumvent the rights of the people. And the people today allow it.  Because few know any different.

Until NOW!

For rights to be RIGHTS, they have to be exercised. Permission is granted to subjects. Freemen need permission from no man or power for the these rights. To restrict them is tyranny. To restrict them is tyranny!

The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them. Albert Einstein

It's time to STOP  being sheep. WE ARE AMERICANS!  No longer will we coward to those who represent us... they do NOT rule over us. We have no earthly king to bow before. NONE!

Today, take the time to read or re-read our Bill of Rights. Ponder on the words and see what has been stolen from us. And at the same time take a vow, with me, to do all we can to reclaim them for ourselves and our kids. We've allowed them to be squandered...  but by God and with His help, may each year from now, on this date, December 15lets celebrate our RIGHTS as Americans, rather than mourn our loss as servants!

Fight! Dammit.... FIGHT!!!

“It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” –Sam Adams

Unlike the house, the senate gives favor  to the minority to hold up legislation it deems worrisome. YET NOT ONE REPUBLICAN HAS STOOD UP AND YELLED "I OBJECT!" TO  ANYTHING THAT IS IS HAPPENING. From new debt ceilings to progressive health care... nothing... NOTHING! Just bitching on FOX. Nothing where it matters. Just a bunch of castrated bastards. Hannity busts our chops  every time some among us say there is no difference between the two parties. In a way he is right. These present rinos are worse!

I want to fight. FIGHT! NO HOLDS BARRED. They are thieves... every last one. If they won't... we'll take it back.

I'll bring the tar, you bring the feathers.

John Adams the movie

I'm about 2/3 of the way through this mini series. At first I was skeptical as it was produced by HBO. But I have to say that so far... I am enjoying it a great deal.

Sacrifice is something that is used so broadly today that it has very little meaning and honor to it. What do we really sacrifice anyways? Time? Position? Money? Security? Life?  Some really do. Those we rarely hear about. But the vocal self proclaimed ones thump their chests and cry, "hey look at the sacrifice I've made for the country... I do all this for you, I'm your senator".  Or this..."I gave up my $200k law career to be a community organizer and help the poor and distraugt." Disregard the fact that his household income increased somehow. Oh I digress...

SACRIFICE

In the movie, Adams was in France at a dinner where he was being made fun of for working so hard in the fight for his new country. He was asked if he ever took time away from that boring stuff to study important things like art or music. His reply really made me pause and put his world, his fight into today's context. His said after a long pause and in a quiet tone but a strong fixed look in his eyes...

"I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce and agriculture in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain."

SACRIFICE

Many of us right now have this hunger for studying the history of our founders and the construction of our constitution. About the foundations that made this country great. For the role God had and needs to have in it. We are being drawn into things we had little desire of just a few years ago. We had lives we were busy with. But now... it's almost an innate feeling we are experiencing... really no different than our bodies craving for protein after a week of salads. But now it's in our souls. It's almost as if we who call ourselves freemen, by instinct, know, we must prepare for something.

And that something is not good.

Please, feed your hunger.
