NEW YORK — Former New York Giant Plaxico Burress pleaded guilty Thursday to a weapons charge and agreed to a two-year prison term for accidentally shooting himself at a Manhattan nightclub.

First off... Plaxico is an idiot. There are lots of them here in this country. But New York State is out of line in this punishment of this man. Carrying a gun to a club where you will be drinking is stupid. I am an unconditional proponent of concealed carry based on Vermont regulations for nationwide use. Carrying a weapon to a club would not be allowed. But Plaxico was robbed of his civil rights in the occupied territory of progressive New York. I would rather had a jury trial. 2 years is the crime here. A fine... absolutely for being stupid and careless. But not jail.

Bring Your Handgun To Work Day!

OK, OK. There really isn't a day. But maybe it's time to start one. Right NOW! What do you think? In celebration of the Second Amendment and the Rights guaranteed to us and paid for by the blood of patriots... on such and such date, the free people (or those who celebrate their freedom) of the United States in exercising there constitutional rights shall bring their concealed weapon of defense with them to work. This will be celebrated by all freemen (and women) of the United States. Those who may participate will be based on those regulations under Vermont law concerning concealed carry. Opinions?

I read this story from several different news outlets and not once did I find he was black. Maybe the press is finally becoming color blind? NOT A CHANCE! But then again there is that statement in that old rag called the Constitution that says "Shall Not Be Infringed" In California we are allowed to open carry (as long as it is unloaded). "Allowed" But then again we are given a fundamental right to carry. "A Right" This man exercised his RIGHTS and to that I say thank you. You are welcome at my campfire anytime!

It is not a secret of who I would like see hold the highest office the next time around (If our country is still here). I want someone who resembles my beliefs and convictions. And there are some out there. I am a huge proponent of 2 ladies, Palin and Bachmann. Both have had a life before politics, something that is eerily missing in our present ruling trash. I came across a quote from Michelle Bachmann this morning...

Why don't we hear more of this? Why?... Because many in office believe just the opposite. And they have been able to silent most of the others. But Congress-Woman Bachamann is proud of our country. Proud of the real America. Not the new in-visioned one of the other Michelle whose husband would like to destroy and then remake it.

Palin-Bachmann 2012... brings a tear to my eye in the utter meltdown the press, progressive left (same thing) and established republicans would have. I WOULD LOVE IT!!!

Governors oppose DoD emergency powers

It is amazing these little things (huge things) seem to go by with little attention. The DoD is asking that in a time of emergency (as defined by the guy in the white house) the federal government can take control of all the guard units which have always been under the governors control. Why have governors? Why have state legislators? Why have state courts? Why even have local authority? Leadership based on early Israel, God ordained, is now daily being turned into a fascist monarch of beelzebub. All hail obama.

I have to tell you, as I go through my day I read a lot of news. Things happen so fast. One day of news in modern America is more than a month just a couple of decades ago. For the most part I think that is a good thing because it's harder for domestic enemies to get away with things. But there are some down sides. I tend to skim over what should be important. Every day there are men and women who are laying down their lives for you and me. I have to stop and reflect that every day there are men and women laying down there life for you and me. They are gone... forever. They and their family have made the greatest sacrifice. Donating to charity, giving time to church, even public service at the highest levels - pales in comparison. Yet the country focuses on a little dittie from bill's better half (which isn't saying much).

I am going to make an effort to stop when I see an article like this and say a prayer and thank these patriots. I will pray for their families. Unbelievable grief will be with them now for the rest of their life. And I am humbled.

The Bible and the Right to Carry!

Christian pacifists are always quick to say that Jesus didn't literally mean what He was saying. But I disagree. As with the what I believe false teaching of turning the other cheek as to submitting to violence, Jesus was a strong supporter of self defense.
It's all Greek to me... Dang those translations. The word that sword was translated from is machaira. It means a relatively short sword or other sharp instrument, a sword-dagger. This isn't a soldier's long sword, but a small sword, the handgun of the ancient world that was kept concealed and out of sight and used for protection. Jesus hated the use of violence. But is self defense violence? For me it is not.

So what does this mean? Really that is up to you to decide. Jesus didn't say to go out right away and apply for a concealed dagger permit. As such the Second Amendment to our Constitution states that our right to a gun for defense shall not be infringed. Not you are privileged to a hunting rifle if you fill out this paperwork and contact information. It is a natural law.

By being a citizen of this country... and a believer, we are given unalienable rights to carry a weapon for self defense. Do you agree?

I just watched the interview from the lady who called 911 to report a possible break in at the professor's home. The Revolution of 2010

November 2010 will be an important month for our country. It will decide the tone of our next revolution. We are on the crest. Both paths will be daunting. One will be America in the image of Europe/Marxism with leadership that stresses just because it is a failure there doesn't mean we can't succeed.. as we are more enlightened. The other will be an erasure of the last 100+ years and return us to an ideal closer to those of our founders origin. A true constitutional republic. Both paths though will have cost. Both paths are despised by the other. And I fear both paths will be hard fought, painful and costly. And only one will win. From now until then, exercise your first amendment as much as you can... teach and warn everyone you meet. Regardless... prepare... to have to use your second amendment right if... when needed. God's blessing and hand on us all.

You don't matter here in California

I have been amazed at the number of articles on the 2nd Amendment lately. Like it's a new issue. Maybe it's a sudden interest in the Constitution and Bill of Rights (whatever that is).

Here in our state, with no apology, some life is more important than others. Some have a right to defend themselves with deadly force wherever they travel. They have a right to defend their family and property. They have a right to life. You do not. Unless you are at home, you are subject to becoming the bad end of a statistic. Who are they? Those who have been granted the right to carry a concealed weapon in California. Their cause, their worth is above yours and mine. Here is San Diego there are aprox. 1600 people who have been elevated above... we the people. While some are legit in their occupation and circumstances, others have obtained this status because of elitism. Because they are in the click. You and I, we the people, we are not. We are not to be trusted. We are not to be granted a "right" proclaimed in the constitution. The only amendment where our founders saw the importance of using the phrase... "shall not be infringed" is the one in bearing arms. Yet in California, this has been negated to nothing. 40 states in the union trust their citizenry more than this one with over 4 million permits. For us here, we have to prove a justifiable need... and our life is not justifiable.

Just remember, as California goes, so goes the country. Live free or die.

I have referenced before the familiar quote of Jesus that claimed we need to render unto Caesar what is Caesars. Quick... Caesar was the elected leader of Rome who took the "Roman Republic" into "Rome the Empire" and appointed himself as dictator for life. Great tool history can be for those who open their eyes.

The remark from Jesus though is in contrast (so far) to today. We have no Caesar.... We Have No Caesar... WE HAVE NO CAESAR! We have no king, no dictator, no ruler. By providence we are a representative land. Of the people, for the people... We the People. I get so frustrated at the lofty perch our elected officials have assumed. Looking down upon their minions, the poor sheople need direction and to be cared after. BS! We have so skewed the whole concept of who we are. People tell me how afraid they are of what is going on today. Afraid of what "those in power" are going to do to us. Those in power? Do to us? Please. Wake up! We are in power. Everything that happens is self inflicted. Because we allow it. We allow the laws to be passed without comment. We allow the redefining of precedence because we say nothing. And when we do... we tremble as to what the response may be. That's sad.

The snake on the flag and the motto "dont tread on me" is something I believe strongly in. But just because I don't look for confrontations and would like to be left alone to live my life, my head is not in the sand. I am on guard. Because what happens today WILL affect my tomorrow. And though it's cliche, the best defense is offense. There has to be consequences for bad actions. Up to now there has only been rewards. But remember, they work for us. They work at our pleasure. And when some scab demands that she be called senator, I demand she call me boss!

Over 250 members of congress and an increasing number of senators have asked for an audit of the federal reserve. Yet the leadership says no... you can't look behind the curtain. You, the American people are not to be trusted with our secrets of how things really work. Listen, both r's and d's have been running this sham. But at least now the blinders on some have become dislodged and they are attempting to do the right thing. But for others, especially those in leadership position their reply is... SCREW YOU! And we take it. A few of us will moan and groan. Maybe write about it. Maybe call our rep. But they do all of this because they can. The good sheeople say nothing. Just another day in oz.

Couldn't do it....

An earlier post I talked about hanging my flag upside down as I believe our country is under distress. The flag code allows for such action. But I can't do it. Maybe if I was stranded on an island and was signaling for help. But our flag is sacred. The sacrifice that has been made on it's account is overwhelming. And just the thought of reversing it makes me ill. I will not let the bas...rds destroy that symbol. So it flies for me... right and true.

In my earlier posts you have seen me flying my Betsy Ross and Gadsden flags. It makes a great statement and have used it at 2 tea parties. One flag I have also been reading about lately is that of the Son's (and daughter's) of Liberty. This is one of the earliest flags of colonial protest that started during the stamp act (our current cap and traitor tax). What better symbol than for today. It is a rejection of the tyranny of today. Here is a picture of what will fly at my home for a while on my second flag pole. (Yes I have a problem as I had 5 flags flying on the fourth). Sue me!

Rick Warren calls on Muslims and Christians to work together...

Two times today this guy's name popped up. Once in my morning email from WND and another at church. Rick Warren is the head pastor of Saddle Back Church here in Southern California. A mega church of some 20,000 the last I checked. He is respected among evangelicals world wide. But... he has always made me feel uneasy. Not sure why but I'm starting to see different things. Over the years he has held most notably a one on one discussion with presidential candidates. Last year was no different with McCain and whats' his name. Yes, these were important but I was still surprised at the number of those claiming to follow Christ who still chose to vote for obama even after several of his answers were in contrast to biblical teaching... especially abortion. Warren at the conclusion refused and to this day refuses to take sides in politics. (I have strong feelings concerning fence walkers). I also was surprised by Warren's openness to give the invocation at the swearing in ceremony. Kinda like having Paul blessing the office of Herod.

Anyways, this weekend Mr. Warren spoke at the Islamic Society of North America. He called on Muslims and Christians to form an interfaith coalition to combat prejudice and stereotypes. ??? What did he just say? That we should join hands and sing kumbiya? Just be sure to invoke alla or your throat may be cut.

The result...Some are taking Warren's participation Saturday as a sign of Islam becoming more accepted in America. "I am commanded to love and I am commanded to respect everybody," Warren said.

I'm sorry Mr Warren but that acceptance ENDS AT THEIR DESIRE TO DESTROY MY CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS. You are right I am commanded to love them and to pray for their lost souls. But I will not respect or accept a religion of hate.

Today I just found out that Sarah Palin has decided to step down as governor of Alaska. Todd Palin told FOX News that his wife will concentrate on "doing the things for Alaska and the country" that she is passionate about and cannot do as governor with the limitation and constant opposition she deals with within the state. My hope... my prayer... is that she will run for president in 2012.

WE NEED A REPRESENTATIVE OF WE THE PEOPLE!

Screw their (the) Constitution

To be truthful, up to now I really haven't thought about our distant neighbor to the south, Honduras. I knew they were a so called democracy but their president Zelaya enjoyed hanging with the dics... (dictators of the Sotomayor persuasion...) of latin america. Simply, over the last few months zelaya has tried to circumvent his country's constitution. The supreme court and most of his party said no. He said you better listen to me because I have good friends like chavez and castro (and obama) to back me up. The supreme court voted and said you are out of here. So the military stormed the palace and put him on a plane out of the country. Then they (the supreme court) installed a new leader (the speaker of the house) to fulfill the rest of his term. They returned it to democracy regardless of the press and our pres' statement. They followed their constitution. Outrage from our king... outrage from cuba's king... outrage from venezuela's king... outrage from the u.n.. With all this against you, you know you did the right thing. Our king claims the rule of law should apply. Problem is he's LOOKING IN A MIRROR as to what I hope will happen to him. I think it scares him to death. CZARS, taking over private industry, bail outs... we are surrounded by tyrants bent on destroying us. Time to storm our house and put him on a plane back to his birthplace!

My heart breaks...

"The US Flag Code says the flag should never be flown upside down except as a signal of distress". This is a hard decision to make. I LOVE MY FLAG! It represents sacrifice, courage, honor and pride. But these things mean nothing to those who are entrenched in our capital. Our country, our constitution, our very soul as America is under attack and yes I am distressed. I do not like to protest but this year I have been forced to. I do not like to call attention to myself. But I am forced to. I WILL NOT SIT BY AS WE ARE ATTACKED. I will not look the other way and say lets wait until 2010 or 2012. WE WILL HAVE NOTHING LEFT.

By flying my flag upside down I mean no disrespect to those who fought for it. It wasn't until I researched it that I found that many who fought for our country feel the same way. In fact it is because of their sacrifice that I want to call attention to what is going on today. Is this the right way? Call it progressive, call it socialist, call it Markism, call it communist... our country is on the verge of never being the same.

Domestic Enemies

With 90 % of the phone calls to Washington yesterday asking their 'representative' to vote no, cap and tax was passed. No regard for we the people. As with the stimulus, 1600 pages provided just hours before the vote. No humanly way to decipher that much information. Yet, they put their faith in government, in themselves and to hell with us. They are enemies of the state now. Domestic combatants. I believe they should be not voted out of office but THROWN out. 230 years ago they would of came home and their house would of been burnt down. But today they get to go on vacation. In their eyes it was a victory for the progressive movement. But we have to retake the ground they claimed. They need to fear us as our founders stressed. Progressives hate the country of our founders. The one may stand in front our founding documents and reassert his oath, but his heart and soul is not one of We the People and he is the enemy, guilty of treason as he and others are bent on our destruction. So we'll take the battle to them.

Trust

It's really easy to get carried away with ideas. When they sound good, look good and even feel good.... there is one thing to remember. Man is fallible. He (man) is destined to blow it from time to time. And thats where the danger comes in. Where are your eyes focused? Where is your heart? Are we hoping the lone ranger will ride up and save the day? People like Newt, Bush, Sanford, Beck, Rush... they are all men capable of great things... but also capable of missing the mark and disappointing us. As such it is important as to who/what we should fix our eyes on. We need rock and not sand. This is where the truth is. This is where your... my trust should be.
