This November 2, if God so blesses us with one more chance to to redeem the republic he blessed us with, my first recomendation would be to update our voter rules and make them uniform for federal elections. Some suggestions:

• ENGLISH ONLY. No brainer. If you are a citizen with an entitlement to vote, you should be able to understand ENGLISH. California has some dozen or so options.

• SHOW ID. Certify every person. No id - no vote.

• PROSECUTE those who violate this scared, SACRED privilege. And not just a fine. But jail time. And the forfeture of future voting.

• PROTECT THE VOTE OF THE MILITARY. Oppose this and you are just plain scum.

I have other suggeations... such as tax increases can only be voted on by those whom they may affect - like property owners. Do you have others?

Last week I sat back and watched and listened to the many comments on Glenn Beck and his role in not only restoring honor to America but in rebuilding faith amongst believers. Many were disappointed that Christian leaders would share a stage and Christians in general would travel across the country to listen to and be inspired by... a Mormon. That just being there they would somehow give credence to his faith and weaken the 'true' message of Christ. That Christians were selling out.

But... what if... now hang in there with me... what if all of this is God's plan to surround Glenn with believers? That God is using this rally, movement or whatever you may call it, to somehow work on Glenn in his walk. Could God do this? Would He do this? And how many of those who stood up and chastised Christendom for "selling out" actually took time to pray for Glenn? Very few I imagine. That is sad. All I have ever seen or heard from Glenn is that we are a fallen people and our country is in need of God's grace. No shattering news there. As believers, maybe it time to show some of that grace back to Glenn.

On Saturday's Restoring America Rally, Alveda King during her prayer spoke of her dreams. One was of her hope "that white privilege would become human privilege." In retrospect, at Obama's coronation he had a minister pray that he hoped "whites would do what is right." Is the race card different coming from a black conservative vs a liberal one? I find it offensive either way. Along with the sharpton show later that day, it does show that racism is more alive today than ever. The problem is it is now 180 degrees from 47 years ago.

Mass-ass kerry went so far to say, "If it is after the election, it may well be that some members are free and liberated and feeling that they can take a risk or do something."

I guess if their oath and duty to the constitution ends before they leave office... then the very rule of law that protects them from... say... lame duck hunting season should end. Are they not directly attacking the will of "We the People" and thus committing treason? Isn't the $1,000's each of us will be forced to pay for another socially engineering program like cap and trade, just robbery. It's really no different than being held up after cashing our paycheck. And then again it's not much different from days long ago when outlaws stole your horse. Today they justify these thefts because you really shouldn't have too many horses... too big of house... too many cars... too much money... when some poor (lazy) soul down the street has less than you. Now what did they do to horse thieves again?

YES! Thieves should get what they deserve. So should traitor politicians.

Now it's not that any of these wack jobs have ever adhered to their oath. Most democrats, many republicans and all elected independents, hate the Founder's vision of America. They are narcissistic elitists. They are also an enemies and threats to the republic.

My family and I (together... it is never separate, it's kinda why I married her 18 years ago and with the kids... well they are our kids... and we are... I think the word is family), have taken only one vacation this year. We have had cut back like many. We went camping in the desert for 4 days. Yes it was in our motor-home that we make payments on. In the process we used a total of 70 gallons of greenhouse warming fossil fuel... as well as burning 3 nights of firewood. With food, supplies and extras... it cost us about $500... or $125 a day. We had to budget and rearrange a couple of accounts to make it happen. We rationalized that our boys are only young once. And we might not be able to do another trip for a while.
Kinda like the first family and their vacation(s)... minus the fact that they did theirs apart (can you feel the love?)... minus the 65+ support staff (we do our own packing, cooking, repairs, cleaning, driving, etc.)... minus a security force of over 1,000 agents (I carry my own :) thank you)... minus some 40+ friends who I guess all just lost their fathers and needed to get away (we did bring our new dog)... minus the military escort, which included dozens of other planes including a C130 to carry the limo and makeup bag (I towed a trailer and had to... with pleasure... set everything up and dig the fire pit.)... and... we had to share the desert without part of it being closed off for our personal/private use.
Her vacation is said to cost about $75,000 a day... BULL CRAP! Air Force One cost some $75,000 AN HOUR!!! A conservative estimate.... over $5,000,000 for her alone. Add O's little birthday trip heading the other direction and it was one big fricken slap to you and I.
They say they are one of us, the common people. Their arrogance is absurd. And please don't say Bush did... . What the Bushes did were to go home to Crawford for extended periods and work... not play golf, not shoot hoops with the brothers. He had enough problems but playing royalty wasn't one of them.

Nick Popaditch is a war hero. A Marine for 15 years, Gunnery Sergeant Popaditch became famous when the Associated Press photographed him smoking a cigar while his unit pulled down a statue of Saddam Hussein in April 2003. A year later, Popaditch was severely wounded during fighting in Fallujah -- he lost his right eye and much of his hearing after a grenade was thrown through the hatch of his M1A1 Abrams tank. He was later awarded a Purple Heart and a Silver Star.

Now, Popaditch, bald and wearing an eye patch, is running for Congress in California on a platform of limited government, strong national defense and secure borders. The race inspired a cartoon in the Imperial Valley (CA) Press that didn't go over too well. It depicts two skateboarders viewing a campaign poster of a bald man with an eye patch and cracking jokes about him. Even Popaditch's Democrat opponent criticized the cartoon, and the paper has since made an apology after explaining that they were mocking the skateboarders' ignorance, not the candidate himself. Popaditch said he wasn't offended: "I've got much thicker skin than that." Not surprisingly, the gaffe has raised his profile and may help him in November.

Skate boarder's ignorance? BULL SH*T! The community this paper comes from is 80% hispanic and I would guess half illegal. They are the closest county to Arizona and a La Raza hotbed. The latter makes them enemies of the republic. This paper caters to their philosophies. Yes, Popaditch is a better man than I with his words of not being offended. I for one am PISSED!

April 1
Subcontractor on rig Halliburton notified Obama’s Mineral Management Services (MMS) that BP was using cement (mud) around the casing improperly against norm standards and below industry safety levels.. Obama’s appointed head of MMS (a Harvard community organizer attorney with no oil experience) over ruled Halliburton’s objection and granted BP a permit to continue.

April 9
Halliburton once again objects to BP using only a single lined casing. Wells at this depth and pressure require a minimum of 4 layers. All other 5,000 ft high pressure, ALL OTHER wells in gulf use this. Once again MMS over ruled Halliburton safety warning and issued a permit to use single wall casing. (The single layer is what eventually blew out)

Halliburton while conducting tests on the cement to be used on was stopped by BP. No tests were done to assure that the cement would bond correctly as time is money and money is…. well it was already spent by BP as the largest oil contributor to Obama’s 2008 campaign. Coincidence?

OK... another 2A rant. Without going into the details it is fair to assume that Chicago needs more gun laws. How else can this be explained. Violent crime can be cured with more restrictions. Right?

The truth is, Chicago/Illinois already has the most restrictive laws in the nation regarding handgun ownership and possession. So with all of these restrictions and the mayor crying for more... places like say Burlington, Vermont with virtually no gun laws should be coined the modern day killing fields. Right?

Well this weekend there were none. No murders or even shooting I could find. Ok, Ok there is a difference of populations. Roughly 5.2 million for Chicago (and surrounding areas. 210k for Burlington (and surrounding areas). So 210 times 52 divided by 5,200...... they should of had 2.1 shootings. And since it is the wild west (east) out there with anyone 16 and older allowed to carry a handgun concealed without (WITHOUT) a permit... it should of been in the 100's... just for this weekend. I'm sure there were disputed little league games, fender benders, a low golf score and maybe even a chili cook off that the losers disagreed with. We're constantly told an unrestricted population will turn to gun violence to solve every altercation and dispute. Right?

In 2005 Vermont had a total of 8 murders... the entire state had a total of 8 murders and not all were firearm related. That's just a PMS weekend in the land of Obama. Yet they will look you in they eye and claim more laws and even bans are needed to be safer. The 2A... well that was for the military. Even the U.N. wants them banned. Because we are told guns are not meant for the little folk. Protection is the government's job. We need to trust them. Right?

I have googled many articles... this statement seems to be correct. If it does turn out to be true, they have seen the last dollar ever from me. The NRA does a great job in teaching gun safety and organizing shooting competitions. But they sold their soul when it comes to political causes... usually at the expense of our liberty and rights. I await a response from members of their board of directors, especially Ted Nugent. A mega million dollar shooting center which Reid is credited for does not make a patriot. It does make a whore though. Character is doing the right thing when no one is watching. The NRA always needs an audience. That's how they get paid. Really no difference between them, the ACLU, SEIU and other left scum.

I saw this pic a few months ago and had no idea as to what meant or stood for. Yesterday I stumbled upon it again. The flag here is called a Nyberg Battle Flag. And the symbol in the middle of the Betsy Ross flag is a Roman numeral 3 and stands for an unorganized group that calls themselves the Three Percenters. I guess you could say I am a Three Percenter and PROUD!!! While I have issue with modifying Old Glory... I 24/7 fly the Betsy Ross flag above my home with a Gasdsen Flag Beneath, I respect their protest as much as those who invert their flag... yes I too believe we are under attack and are in distress. (More on alternative symbol later)

In a nutshell, here is a Three Percenter from the Sipsey Street Irregulars:

Reaffirming their position as an open border, sanctuary city... the San Diego City Council yesterday passed a resolution 7-1 to condemn Arizona and their 'racist' policies. Imagine living in a city where life is so good (100's of millions in debt) that they could devote time to this really important splinter picking activity. The problem is they have failed at running their affairs so it only makes sense to screw with others and spread their stench. You know I can see places like Berkley doing crap like this, but it appalls me that an area that has been so infected and crippled by "illegal blight" and the continual downgrading of the quality of our life, that these inept servants of the people (joke), take it upon themselves to speak for everyone. Well... HELL NO! YOU DON'T SPEAK FOR ME. What's the saying... all government is local. Yup, we're screwed top-down and bottom-up.

A recent article by Pat Buchanan stated,

Employment is only part of the cancer. Yes, verifying your status to an employer is important. We have a system in place now to e-verify every "legal" person in the country in just a matter of minutes. But it has been ruled by some 'judge god' to be overstepping civil rights.

The world wants to come here not because of our jobs.... but because of our services. Get across the border, hurt yourself (or just come injured or sick), pop out a baby... and you have it made. Growing up and living my 48 years here in Southern California, let me tell you, we do have different seasons here. Yes they are hard to distinguish sometimes. But we can usually diferentiate them by the tourists that show up to visit... extendedly. Winter brings the snow birds, usually older retirees filling up the rv parks. Dennys between 4 and 5 in the afternoon is the barometer for this. Come summer though... a new creature appears. The dreaded ZONIES! If you have ever seen a picture of our beaches here in the summer... the really white people... no these are not Californians, it's the migration of the Zonies. You know this to be true when the stores are stripped of Coors Light and you can not find parking at any Mexican fast food restaurant. Beware!

Ok ok... I rag on my neighbors to the east. It's all in fun because I have freinds and family there. They are good people. Actually, I'm envious right now and keep thinking if Arizona could be in my future... ?

Concealed Carry-No Permit Required! Wow! They actually read the Bill of Rights! Can you imagine? They're even ahead of Texas of all states on this one.

This is just opening day for the California Cannabis Expo. If recent polls are correct, come November, California and neighboring states (down wind) may be obscured by smoke for much of the year. Living in California it is really hard for me to point out the splinters in the rest of the nation's eyes when we have some freakishly large redwood logs in ours. So goes our election for governor this year.

Leading on the left we have a liberal retread from the 70's, Moon Pie Jerry Brown. A 70 year old brain dead hippie who gets to circumvent the two term rule because his two term reign ended before term limits here took place. His plan... destroy the free market here faster than "O". He has personally cost me thousands of dollars over marxist carbon credit offset crap he alone has invented. Also as attorney general he is the poster child for the aclu. Criminals and perverts love this state.

On the right... Oh what a tangle web we.... you get the point. Poizner and Whitman. Poizner is just a thinner Arnold without the accent. And Whitman is the terminator wannabe with a lower voice. Side note... Poizner gave Al Gore $10k for his election in 2000 and was in favor making it easier for the state to raise property taxes. Whitman is seen on tape praising the work of our communist green czar Jones. Said she looked forward to working with him. She did not create ebay as she brags. They simply hired her for the tax break and pr. Meeting payroll means more when it's your money. She's always been put in charge of strong companies... and watched closely by the boards.

Together these three will be spending $10's of millions over the next few months confusing and confounding the masses. This is California... they could confuse this state for a lot less.

Most have heard about the Chelsea King murder in Southern California. It happened very close to where I live. Today they found her body. And my heart aches for the King family. As the father of a high school boy, I can not imagine the anguish.

But I am also filled with rage... not only at the maggot that did this but the system that allowed it to happen. We were warned that this boil was a danger and should never go free. Yet he was released after serving only half of his sentence. They now say he tried this last December at the same park and very well could be the involved in a number of missing teen girl cases in the San Diego area.

Bureaucracy cares more for granting rights to sub humans than protecting it's citizens.

No more.

An eye for an eye. And that includes the judges. politicians and boards that allow this. This is on their hands. Every stinkin one of them.

My preceding post described the battle at hand with the Supreme Court. One of the links I recommended concerns how the NRA has pushed it's way into the mix. It is interesting that in the last 2A case... Heller, that the NRA argued that the court should NOT be too quick in returning freedom to the citizenry. Yes the NRA fought for keeping much of the gun control that it has helped progressives enact over the last 80 years or so.

Why?

The NRA needs gun laws to stay in business. It needs membership dues to pay for it's mega million dollar headquarters and lush payroll. IT IS A BUSINESS that needs an oppressed citizenry to remain in power. Very much the same way that progressives need the oppressed to be able to thump their chests and claim they are here for them.

The saying is we can know who they are by their actions. What they argue tomorrow will not go unnoticed. Please, instead of boasting "I'm the NRA", it's time to proclaim, "I'm an American!"

Last nights donkey show by the tel"O"prompter guy was a real work. He definitely played it up to his barnyard animal friends for sure. But one thing that seems to be getting the most notice is his chastising of the Supreme Court DURING his state of the union speech. Now lets see... it's inappropriate for a congressman to call out the president for lying through his teeth, but ok for the self appointed king to mock a CO-EQUAL... CO-EQUAL branch of the government because it throws a monkey wrench in the progressives road to domination.. I still don't believe he was ever qualified to teach constitutional law. As my last post quoted... he failed lunch.

Palin "Sly as a FOX"

A left of center friend of mine (Truth101) recently ran a post titled "Sarah Palin - Stupid as a FOX". Naturally a title like that will stir the natives... and I think it's now approaching 100 replies. Dang, I'm lucky to get 5. Not to worry. I was able to fend them all off. :)

His title though is inaccurate as to the true saying. It is "Sly as a Fox". Hunters picked this foe because of the challenge and the likelihood of their(the hunter's) defeat. Farmers built their hen houses to repel this enemy whose craftiness exceeded many a builder. And now the conservatives have not just Sarah... but other "We the People" Americans ready to reclaim the country of our founders. And the progressive sit back and howl... "they're all just stupid tea baggers."... and apparently we're just stupid pickup truck owners as "O" the fearless one yelped about this weekend in ole Mass.

If you get a chance, go to the post and read the replies against her. Illiterate, evil, stupid and brainless seem to be the rally cry. Even "so called conservatives" are quick to point out why this mother of five doesn't represent the elite who they believe should rule and lead. Talking points from this group come strait from SNL and since it is from NBC it must be fact. Words from Tina Fey became facts. Yet when you disprove the allegations, they always have their fall back chant "SHE QUIT AS GOVERNOR!" Facts matter not but let's compare the whole thing of job responsibilities and ignoring your elected job...

When Sara Palin came on the scene it was just over 2 months from the election. Yes left, just 68 or so days she was away from her state. The lieutenant governor took over the day to day concerns. Now look at the chosen one. He started his run for POTUS about 2 years before that. Wait a minute. He was elected to serve in the Senate... not to run full time for another office. "But...but... but... he's the chosen one so it's not the same." Really? He collected his check for an entire 2 years while spending about 5% of his time being Senator. Yes, McCain did the same thing. My feeling is if you are going to run for office for more than 6 months you need to step down. BOTH PARTIES. But that's on my wish list.

They still say she quit her office she was elected to. Yes. But she put the state before her needs and knew the position she was in after the election would hurt Alaska more if she stayed. The establishment had her in their sites. She had accomplished her energy plans of the gas line and knew her lieutenant governor to be an honorable replacement. She knew away from Alaska, she could make a greater impact in our quest for the return of citizen rule. So instead of retreating, lets just say she stepped back to reload. She put country and Alaska first.

Whether she runs or not in 2012, she is a sly fox that one. She continues to be a thorn in the progressive side. And she will continue to serve the country she loves until she decides to step aside. Not by the handlers of the current ruling class. Get use to her.

I recently heard a name I had never paid attention to, though I am sure he has been in the news many of times. The man above is Czech President Vaclav Klaus. And except for not being an American... he has the heart of our founders in every sense (even in his love for a good ale it seems!)

What can I do?

With the start of the new year and my first post of the new decade, I wanted to plant a seed. Sometimes we look at the country around us and ask what difference can I make. As "We the People" great changes are going to come about at the end of this year. That is, unless a 'crisis' materializes and our liberties are stolen. But closer to home, what difference can "I the Citizen" make? What can I have a role in?

Simple answer... you can have a HUGE role.

There is a term that most have never heard of. There is a term that lawyers and judges alike despise. There is a term that some will say you have no right to. But... there is a term that YOU and I have a constitutional right to.

Jury Nullification

We are a country based upon laws. We are a nation built upon rights. But what happens when laws are written that diminish these guaranteed, inalienable rights? Who is the final protector of our freedoms? Politicians?... Judges?... the Supreme Court?

No. The protector of our freedom is still where or founders placed them... with We the People.

“ Duvergers Law” - Why you should not support a 3rd party.

Remember, not a single founding father wanted political parties, yet we saw 4 of the founders - John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison - lead the development of 2 parties into existence before Washington even completed his first term.

Please Note: Those 4 founding fathers all wanted NO parties, but they immediately developed TWO parties...but not 3 or more parties.

Think about that: Why would that be? They wanted NO parties...they could have set up as many parties as they wanted to...but they ended up with just two.

Just like today...hmmm... Why would that be?

It’s because of “ Duvergers Law”

Bottom line: Whenever "50% of the vote plus 1 more" wins EVERYTHING, people will eventually coalesce around 2 parties even when they DON'T want to do so...it’s "Duvergers Law" and it’s almost as unchangeable as gravity.

Does anyone here think we are collectively or individually smarter than Adams, Hamilton, Jefferson, or Madison?

No offense to anyone here, but I sure don't think so....and if these 4 founding fathers couldn’t figure out how to overcome “Duverger’s Law” then I PROMISE you that no one in 2010 is going to be able to do so.

HOWEVER...we proved in 2008 that we CAN act as a caucus within the 2 existing parties, and we CAN root out the compromised incumbents from WITHIN the party...and we CAN take back control of the party from the RINO's.

We will do it in 2010 all over the country because of all of our members just like you.Are you saying that if YOU decided to run in a Republican primary, and we got behind you and we helped ELECT you and sent you to Washington...are you telling me you would somehow turn into someone who would be un-constitutional and fiscally irresponsible just because you won as a Republican or a Democrat?

Of course not. You would be as principled as you are right now...as principled as Jason Chaffetz is who we PROVED we could help elect in 2008, not as an independent candidate, but as a Republican and now he is in Washington and he is NOT acting like a RINO...he is the most principled elected official sent to Washington in years.

Well, that’s what we’re doing here...we’re finding very good principled 3rd party candidates just like you...and we’re going to help them win in the primaries and we’re going to send them to Washington as Republicans or Democrats ( we don’t care which, because we don’t care what party someone belongs to) where they can actually be constitutional and be fiscally responsible.

Meanwhile, those who insist on running as independent candidates and refuse to get serious about actually winning will all draw 2% to 3% of the vote (give or take 2 %) and be sitting in their living rooms in 2011 not doing themselves or the nation any good.

Why would you choose to limit yourself like that when you can win instead?

The Founding Fathers couldnt help a 3rd party candidate win. I-caucus can not help a 3rd party candidate win. YOU cannot help any 3rd party candidates win.

December 15, 1791 was the day that set this country apart. The world up to that point had various forms of republics through the ages. Most failed at the hands of corrupt leadership and an immoral people. Our republic was different. Ours was written to try and avoid these perils by limiting the rights and powers OF government and NOT the people. And when we added to our Constitution on this date... the Bill of Rights, we became and we secured ourselves as a country of "Freemen". INALIENABLE RIGHTS! Rights that belong to us and NOT granted by the will of men! (Or that can be taken away)

Today... are they still rights... or just mere privileges? Or worse yet... are they just words written by men from an era long since past with no present meaning? Our leadership of BOTH parties treat them as nothing more than an inconvenience. In every word they speak, in every action they take, they circumvent the rights of the people. I'm about 2/3 of the way through this mini series. At first I was skeptical as it was produced by HBO. But I have to say that so far... I am enjoying it a great deal.

Sacrifice is something that is used so broadly today that it has very little meaning and honor to it. What do we really sacrifice anyways? Time? Position? Money? Security? Life? Some really do. Those we rarely hear about. But the vocal self proclaimed ones thump their chests and cry, "hey look at the sacrifice I've made for the country... I do all this for you, I'm your senator". Or this..."I gave up my $200k law career to be a community organizer and help the poor and distraugt." Disregard the fact that his household income increased somehow. Oh I digress...

SACRIFICE

In the movie, Adams was in France at a dinner where he was being made fun of for working so hard in the fight for his new country. He was asked if he ever took time away from that boring stuff to study important things like art or music. His reply really made me pause and put his world, his fight into today's context. His said after a long pause and in a quiet tone but a strong fixed look in his eyes...

"I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce and agriculture in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain."

SACRIFICE

Many of us right now have this hunger for studying the history of our founders and the construction of our constitution. About the foundations that made this country great. For the role God had and needs to have in it. We are being drawn into things we had little desire of just a few years ago. We had lives we were busy with. But now... it's almost an innate feeling we are experiencing... really no different than our bodies craving for protein after a week of salads. But now it's in our souls. It's almost as if we who call ourselves freemen, by instinct, know, we must prepare for something.

And that something is not good.

Please, feed your hunger.
